Congratulations employee of the month Helen!
Helen is a fantastic employee who goes the extra mile with every patron interaction. She’s always willing to take on new duties, learn new things, and is a great asset to the Laguna Hills Technology team and the Laguna Hills community at large. In addition to her branch work Helen conducts weekly storytimes and has a loyal following of both kids and parents. She also serves as the co-chair of OCPL’s Discover and Go committee. She’s one of the system’s biggest Discover and Go champions and loves to share with patrons about the program and its possibility to explore beyond the library’s walls. Helen is willing to jump in and help whenever necessary and always does it with a smile and a positive attitude. She is a true example of what it means to step up and take on leadership roles during unforeseen circumstances and to support colleagues and the library’s systemwide efforts.
