The health and wellness of our OC Public Libraries’ staff and customers is our main concern.
Based on recommendations from the County of Orange and in concurrence with guidelines issued by the Governor of the state of California, all OC Public Library branches are closed to limit the number of people in a public building and to help curtail further spread of COVID-19 in our communities.
Book drops will be closed at all library locations. All items currently due through March 31st will automatically renew. No fines will be accrued and all fees will be waived.
Holds will remain at library branches until regular service resumes. You will not be able to pick up a hold, but it will be waiting for you when we’re open once again.
If you have questions about your account, library services, general questions, or if you need over-the-phone reference assistance, OC Public Libraries staff is ready to answer your calls Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
