ALL PROGRAMS CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Effective immediately, all library programs, classes and events are cancelled until further notice. This also includes any scheduled meetings being held in library community rooms.
These safety measures are being taken out of an abundance of caution and to be consistent with Countywide recommendations for social distancing and to protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19.
The County of Orange is following guidelines set forth by the California Department of Public Health and cancelling large gatherings for the time being.

Keeping You Safe is Our Priority
The following is a list of steps the Library is undertaking to ensure a safe environment:
· Posted signage with recommendations on how to stay healthy and prevent the spread of COVID-19 at all library locations.
· Removed high-touch items from service areas such as headphones, board games, pillows, plush animals and toys.
Please note, OC Public Libraries does not currently disinfect borrowed materials when they are checked in or used in-house. Disinfecting these types of items and materials is currently not recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As a reminder, the best ways to reduce risk of getting sick, as with seasonal colds or the flu, still applies to prevent COVID-19 and can be found on OC Health Care Agency’s website.

Library Access from Home
OC Public Libraries’ robust digital services give card holders 24/7 free access to ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, resources and more. Books may also be placed on hold for pick up at any OC Public Library location of your choice. eCards are also available for Orange County residents and provide convenient access.
