Need homework help or a fellow student to explain a challenging academic concept? Volunteers from the National Honor Society (http://www.nhs.us/s_nhs/sec.asp?CID=126&DID=5270) meet every Thursday from 3:30-5:30 pm in the Aliso Viejo Library Community Room to provide tutoring free of charge! No registration necessary!
Drop-ins welcome (and encouraged!) Refreshments generously donated by the volunteers of the National Charity League.
Costa Mesa/Mesa Verde
TEEN VOLUNTEERS FOR MESA VERDE’S SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Teens, ages 12 to 18 years, may come to Mesa Verde Library throughout the month of May to sign-up to volunteer for our Catch the Reading Bug @ Your Library Summer Reading Program. This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity to help others participate and play in our summer game and activities. Applications will be available at the children’s desk.
There will be a Summer Reading volunteer orientation on Tuesday, June 10 and/or Thursday, June 12 from 3:30 to 4:40 pm. Those who sign-up to volunteer need to attend one of these orientations.

All teens ages 13-19 are welcome to volunteer for various activities at the library. Those who are interested in building planning and leadership skills and show it on the resume can serve on the Teen Advisory Council.

SUMMER VOLUNTEER TRAINING WORKSHOP

Pick up an application to volunteer at the library this summer and then attend this important workshop. Learn about the summer program and sign up on the weekly schedule.
HOMEWORK HELP FOR TEENS
Mondays, 5-7 pm, in English & Vietnamese
Wednesday, 4-7 pm
Tutors available to help teens with homework including math, physics and computer programming on Wednesday. No sign up needed. Just ask for help!
Laguna Niguel
Is your teen looking for something to do this summer? Do you have volunteer service required by your school, youth group, or honor society? Why not volunteer this summer at the Laguna Niguel Library? Our summer volunteers must be 13-18 years old, must turn in a completed volunteer application, and attend one Teen Volunteer Orientation. We will be having Orientations twice a week, on Wednesdays at 6pm, and Saturdays at 3pm starting May 28.
