The Mesa Verde Branch of the Orange County Public Library is one of three branches serving the City of Costa Mesa. Mesa Verde Branch has a collection of approximately 74,000 items, serves the Northern section of the city, and has an active Children's program in place, along with a well-utilized Vietnamese Collection. The library also houses a collection of books in Spanish.

The library was built in 1965 by the architectural firm of Schwager, DeSatoff & Henderson. The library has 6,458 sq. ft. on three levels.

Volunteering at the Library:

The library always welcomes volunteers. You may pick up a volunteer application and submit it at the library. Our volunteer coordinator will contact you for an interview, at which time she will explain the various tasks available for volunteers to perform. Volunteers typically work two-hour shifts weekly, performing a variety of tasks.

Becoming a Friend of the Library:

You may join the Friends of the Costa Mesa Libraries by filling out an application available at either branch. Volunteers are always need. Please call 714-438-0517 for more details.
