The library is located near the corner of Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point .
Parking is available in the lot by the library. Additional parking is available at Salt Creek Park, next to the Ritz Carlton Hotel. From this parking lot the Library can be accessed via a pedestrian tunnel under Pacific Coast Highway.

Visit our "New Books" and "Libros Neuvos" sections for the latest additions of fiction and non-fiction titles in both English and Spanish.

Everyday at the Library...

We regularly feature works of art from the Niguel Art Association. These are prominently displayed on our walls and are furnished and rotated monthly by the Association's membership. Area residents utilize our public display cases to mount exhibits of materials of interest to our general community. These also change monthly.

VOLUNTEERS

Dana Point Library actively solicits and encourages volunteers. We have many placement opportunities in various areas of the library. An intake interview is required and training is provided. Volunteer openings include: book shelving, book cleaning, grounds maintenance, photocopying, limited research, telephone calling, art assistance, database instruction and Spanish language assistance. For more information about volunteering with us telephone (949) 496-5517 during open hours and ask for our volunteer coordinator.

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

The Friends of Dana Point Library is an active and vital group organized in support of our library services.In addition, the Friends have various volunteer needs for special tasks and events as well as in their bookstore. Bookstore volunteers work with a buddy and training is provided.

Membership is $15.00 annually and cheques should be made payable to FRIENDS OF DANA POINT LIBRARY. Applications can be left at either of the library's service desks, at the Friends of the Library Bookstore, or mailed to:
